• I cannot seem to get <br> and to work in order to make space for a paragraph. No matter what I do, the paragraphs stay connected to one another. I saw in the help file that <br> and get cleaned out by ‘newline characters’ but I have no clue what that means, I guess I don’t understand why a simple <br> and don’t work.

    Thank you in advance.

Meant to say <.p> in there. ??

Adjust the margin/padding property of your P tag in CSS file.
Provide the link to your site if you need more info.

If you are using the WYSIWYG Editor ( or Rich Editor ), pressing enter should get you a new paragraph, i.e. extra space between lines.
If you press Shift + Enter you should get a break tag.
As WordPress generates xhtml the break tag is
The extra space before the ending “/” is there to make older browsers understand the break.

So if you are using the HTML Editor, you should enter a line break as
and a paragraph as Text here

    Does it solve your problem?
