Paragraph Spacing within Posts

  • I’m having issues with getting paragraphs to show as text – white space – text in my published posts. There is white space, inserted using the “enter” key in the visual editor, but then is shows as continuous text on the published page. How can I fix this? I’m sorry, not very technical, still learning how to sift through code . . . at all, LOL! Thanks for any help!

  • Hi there, the WordPress editor strips out most empty tags, so adding empty paragraphs or a bunch of line breaks isn’t a reliable method for adding white space. ?? A better method is to use some CSS code.

    Are you trying to increase the amount of space between all paragraphs in your site, or only specific ones? If it’s the latter, could you please link to the post in question so I can have a look? There are a few ways to accomplish what you’re after but they vary depending on exactly what you’re trying to do. Thanks!
