No matter what settings I try, for either of these fields, the paragraphs I enter get saved as a single lump of text. I saw that you are aware there are some bugs with this – is a fix on the way soon? A 250 word bio looks pretty bad as a single paragraph ??
    Thanks!

    1. Edit the field.
    2. Click “WYSIWYG (Visual Editor) Options”.
    3. Under “Output Options”, check “Enable wpautop”.
    4. Click “Save Field”.
    5. Click “Save Pod”.

    Hi,

    This problem still persists.

    Cheers

    Hi @timgood85

How are you outputting the fields?
If you are using PHP then please wrap the variable with wpautop().

This is an issue in Beaver Builder and Elementor as well, as I believe they simply inherit the text field editor provided by WP.

There is no “options” option in the text module to enable wpautop()

    Hi @johnmecham

I use Beaver myself occasionally and didn’t encounter an issue like this. However, I believe you do need to use such fields within an actual text area within Beaver otherwise it won’t be recognized as a multi-paragraph value.

Anyway, we can’t do very much unfortunately. I remember a similar issue with Divi where only the raw value was taken from the database instead of using get_post_meta which would allow filtering.

    Cheers, Jory
