• First: fonts in customize section not working. When I choose a new paragraph font, the corresponding paragraph font in preview doesn’t change at all. About the only thing that does work through the customize section/paragraph are the margin controls. Any solutions?

Second: creating new font control seems like what maybe needs to happen to fix above. Maybe my theme treats blog paragraphs fonts differently somehow so they are controlled by something other than the customize paragraph controller. But help! I read all sorts of ‘answers’ about creating new font controls by adding CSS Selectors – but how the heck do I know what to insert in there. Is there a list somewhere of such selectors for paragraph body text, quotes, lists, etc that I just cut and paste in there? One site said add “blockquote” to create custom font control for block quotes. Duh. Then another site says to use “en-content li” for the CSS Selector for a List font control. What!?

    Hi drichards62015,
Could you post a link to your website and point out the elements you are having trouble with. Generally speaking in order to get the best out of this plugin you would need to know your theme’s css selectors, I use google developer tools inspect element (right click the element in chrome and click inspect element) feature to quickly find this. Cheers

Thanks Sunny – my site isn’t ‘live’ yet (still working on stuff like this). I emailed you back with screen capture of the elements using the Google developer tools. Did you get them? If so can you point me to where I find the CSS Selector I need to create a new Font Control?

Hey Sunny: I’ve been trying every CSS Selector I can see using the “inspect elements” function in google chrome. Nothing I choose to use seems to work so I can change the font style of my blog paragraphs. Help! Just need some guidance on this. Newby to this . . . thanks!

    Hi drichards62015,
We haven’t received an e-mail containing screen shots. Unfortunately without seeing the site it would be impossible for me to give you a hand. Give me a shout once you have it up online somewhere and I’ll give you a hand. Cheers
