When using the classic editor plugin and in the general options of the Events Calendar plugin you have checked the Activate Block Editor for Events, any post or page you create, when you are going to be viewing it will be without marking the paragraphs.
Unchecking the Activate Block Editor for Events option returns to normal, but I consider this a bug.

I tested this and was able to reproduce. If the site is using Classic Editor but has Block Editor enabled on The Events Calendar Settings, paragraph breaks are disregarded.

It looks like we may be working on a solution for this. For now, I would advise sticking with either all Classic or all Block, and skipping the classic block option.
