Parallax Hero not showing up in Customizer

    Wordpress 5.4
    Woocommerce 4.01
    Storefront 2.5.5
    Parallax Hero 1.5.7

    It used to show up in the Customizer, but it’s not anymore.

    The docs say that I need to be “looking at the page set as the Front Page” — but that doesn’t make sense anymore. There is no longer a way to hit “customize” on a particular page.

    Yes, you can do that as usual. I just tested on the latest version of WordPress and WooCommerce and I can do it. Make sure that the page you are trying to add the Parallax Hero on has the template “Homepage” with Storefront.

    Thank you for taking the time to recreate the situation.

    Unfortunately for me, I have the page set as “homepage” template, I have it set to be the front page, but Parallax Hero does not show up in the customizer. I’ll keep playing with it or else just not use it. Thank you for your time.

    Fixed it: had to clear cookies. I had just updated WordPress and WooCommerce — maybe cookie data is being managed differently in the new versions or something? At any rate that did it.

    I tried a different web browser first (Safari instead of Chrome) and it worked fine. Went back to Chrome, cleared cookies, and that worked too.
