Parallax initial “zoom in” on mobile/tablet with Ghost Kit – Grid

I don’t quite understand what the problem? Could you show me what do you see and what do you expect (in screenshots)?

After a touch of scrolling with parallax on the background has become slightly larger or zoomed in. You can clearly see this if you compare the images side by side and look at the windows in the building on the right. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1YDNtF0WnRWmsllCdhmVdOHZmW09pm9jv

This creates a very noticeable jump in the background size when starting to scroll with parallax on both my iPad with this page https://dev.pathlightdesign.uk/wplab1/awb/

Understand now.

The problem in browser top bar. When you scroll down, the view part becomes larger and parallax recalculates image size. I don’t think that I can somehow resolve this behavior.

Hi, I’m loving the plugin but having the same problem (jump resizing on mobile when showing/hiding browser bar)

It seems to be working fine on https://www.artconsultantsgroup.com but I can’t imagine why. I guess they’re calculating based on the phone screen size (javascript?) and not the viewport?

In AWB, the problem comes when the viewport size changes but, since it’s a scroll, the browser top bar will hide anyway. Before the bottom of the block reaches the top of the screen, “viewport height” will be “screen height” anyway. So maybe work with that value from the beginning and discard resizing?

(I use that trick sometimes: https://css-tricks.com/the-trick-to-viewport-units-on-mobile/ so maybe I’m talking nonsense )

Wow, thank you for info. I’ll check it today. If I can do something with this jumping, the fixed version will be available in the coming update (new plugin version is almost ready).
