Parallax page

I’d like to use a parallax script and build a page with content from different sources.

So I’ll have content from pages like about, contact, services, etc, all of them on the front page.

What should I use to get the posts content/title/photos, do I have a better option than custom queries?

I was thinking of query_posts or wp_query but would appreciate an advice on this, please.

Will I encounter any problems lately, is there anything I should be aware of?
