Parent category only

    Hi

    I need to show related products by parent category only.
    Example: i have fashion clothes by years 2014,2015,2016 etc, these are the parent categories. The subcategories are: jeans, vests, hats…
    I dont want to show the 2016 jeans in a 2017 jeans related products list, because the jeans subcategory is same.

    How can i do this?

    Hello there, you can exclude the categories you don’t need or maybe you could use tags.
