    Hello everybody

It is possible to filter by a parent category in order to have all the products inside this parent category? I always receive 0 products when I select the parent category that has a lot of subcategories with products.

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

I believe the only way to achieve this is by putting those products in the main category too (so enable it) and make it a primary category (the Yoast primary category).

I was able to make it adding Category path and then filtering by the parent category name with the contains options. But I’m
Only able to doit with one filter, How can I doit for three different category names?.

I put the first one with the include o lye option, but I have no clue how to add two more with the same conditions.

    Hi,

It is only possible to use one include only filter per feed configuration (hence the ‘only’). You can however use multiple exclude filters so perhaps you can exclude all the main categories you do not want to show in the feed?

Yes, I already tried it but no way, 0 productos and the query its supposed to be ok, I have X filter one per each category I want to exclude but now way, is a kind off tricky manage the filter in the tool

can you share a screenshot of the filters you created?

I think I’ve done it. Could be that the filter are case sensitive? Now I think it’s working fine, thanks!

Yes that is correct, filters and rules are case sensitive. Good to hear you managed to find that out ??
