Parent Child Category

  • I have one Category called RESOURCE Under thatI have a number of Posts containing information about specific people. z The List is growing, so I wanted to break down the RESOURCE Category into 4 sub Categories (Wine, Beer, Food, Misc)

    Category : RESOURCE (no parent)
    Category : WINE (parent to RESOURCE)
    Post: ERIN (Category: WINE and RESOURCE)

    I dont have that setup on my production Blog, but on my localhost copy, I’ve tried that out and the Post ERIN just shows as a separate post under RESOURCE and is NOT contained in Child Category WINE

    Show the results would show like this
    RESOURCE WINE ERIN BEER

    When I was hoping that ERIN would be displayed under WINE

  • Category should just be Wine, it’s direct parent

    Putting ERIN in WINE category just created a new display on my Index.
    I wanted to see ERIN inside of the WINE Category under the RESOURCE Parent category

    Looking at this, Am I really saying
    that ERIN is the grandchild of WINE and WINE is the child of RESOURCE ?
    Does WordPress support 3 levels of this?
