    Hello there,

I love your plugin, and am quite pleased with the functionality! However, I do have something I am trying to sort out.

I have installed the plugin on a site that uses top-level menu items that don’t lead to an actual page, but have child menu items. Your menu is working well in that a black arrow appears that toggles open the sub-menu.

However, I have reports of users trying to click the parent item itself, rather than the arrow, and the parent link doesn’t go anywhere. Is there any way to set it up that either:

    1. The parent item doesn’t get the hover background colour when touched, or
    2. A click on the parent item toggles the drop-down

Any help would be much appreciated!

  • Hi Laurena,

First of all thanks for using the plug-in, it is much appreciated.

Unfortunately this is not currently an option in the plug-in, however I can add future functionality that will enable the plug-in to ignore clicks on parent links if you would like?

    Many thanks

    Peter

    Hi Peter,

That would be great – though I wonder if there would be any way to attach the toggle action to the parent menu item somehow, rather than just the icon?

Thank you for your reply, looking forward to future releases :-).

    Hi Laurena,

This functionality has all now been added in the 2.1 release due to be released this evening.

    Many thanks

    Peter
