Parent plugin URL access denied

Hiya,

This is something the plugin author has to address. By the looks of it, the plugin checks for a parent plugin and if it isn’t active, uses an external framework (TGMPA) to allow you to install and activate the parent plugin, however, it also looks like the author forgot to provide the external framework with a configuration, which effectively means that the framework doesn’t know what to do, which is why you are seeing that page….

Sorry that I can’t be of more help, but hopefully the plugin author will fix this soon.

I’m so sorry that you are having this issue, the TGMPA library usually works perfectly fine but I don’t know what’s going wrong on your installation. Can you please send me your WP admin information to [email protected] – I will try my best to look into this and help you get AMP enabled on your website.

When I originally responded, I’d done a search on the GH repo and did not find a function hooked into the tgmpa_register action, so to me, it looks like you forgot to execute step 4 of the installation procedure for TGMPA.

When you downloaded TGMPA, it came with an example.php file which shows an example implementation of step 4. The hook-in and the related function don’t have to be in a separate file, but should be somewhere in your codebase, otherwise TGMPA does not know what to do.
For more detailed information on the options available and how to provide them to TGMPA, please have a look at the configuration help page.

On a separate note – I also looked at the code in SVN/trac here on www.ads-software.com and found some oddities with duplicate files and such, but that is probably unrelated to this issue.
