Parent Post ID

First of all, thank you very much for this ingenious plugin. It saved me a lot of time.

I have one question and I need the Page ID from the parent page. Unfortunately if (is_page … does not work. It is because a shortcode should not be loaded if you come from the “xyz” page. Is that possible or is there another trick?
