• Hi

For some reason, the parent slugs are not showing up as part of the slug of my blog posts and i can’t see a way to get it to automatically add it or even manually add the parent slug.

I have used posts to create two different pages, so i wonder if this is the issue and is there another way round it? I have a page called ‘party planning’ which is essentially my blog and i have a ‘posts’ widget on this page that feeds in my blog posts by the selected categories. I then have a page called ‘your parties’ which also has a posts widget and it sucks up posts that i have created only with the category ‘your parties’. (None of the posts appear on both pages)

None of the posts on either page seem to show the parent slug as part of the url. Have I confused things by using the posts to create two different pages? Or is there some other reason the parent slugs are not showing?

Please can someone help me to fix this? I have googled everything i can think of and everything tells me that wordpress adds the parent slug as automatic…. But its not doing it for me!

    Thanks
