Parse Error

  • I just installed wp, but whenever I try to login i get this:
    Parse error: parse error, expecting ‘,” or ';'' in /home2/blissdev/public_html/hamstu/blog/wp-admin/post.php on line 520
    Everything else works fine, I just can’t login!

  • Did you edit anything in wp-admin/post.php ? Try reuploading that file.

    No, I didn’t touch it. It just gave me that right away.

    Hi every body
    I have tried to install the WP on the remote Linux server , i am getting the error right from the starting of the /wordpress-1.0.2/wp-admin/install.php till the step-3
    I am getting the following error wriitten at the top of the page
    Parse error: parse error in /home/webmaster/apacheb/htdocs/wordpress-1.0.2/wp-includes/class-xmlrpc.php on line 398

    If you are just installing new, I would use 1.2mingus – it’ll save upgrading in the near future, and it may also sort this problem for you.

    Hey everyone,
    I was trying out wordpress and ran into a catch. I went through the three installation steps fine, and got my login and password. However, when I clicked the link to go to the login page, I got a page with this error.j
    “Parse error: parse error in /home/foxglove/public_html/wordpress/wp-login.php on line 285”. I think line 185 has something to do with “wp-admin.css” in the wp-admin folder. Anyone have any suggestions.
