After restoring my site from backup I can not re-activate the plugin. I’m getting this error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ‘)’ in /home4/gcpsorga/public_html/wp-content/plugins/entrywizard/classes/ewz-webform.php on line 244
My php version is 5.4.24 If I were to delete the plugin then re-install will I retain all of the data.

This error usually occurs because the version of php is too old.

EntryWizard requires at least php version 5.3.0
( Many webhosting companies allow you to choose the version of php that you run. )

I don’t think re-installing would help, and yes, if you use the built-in uninstall, you would lose your data. If you need to re-install but keep your data, the safe way would be to download the EntryWizard package and use ftp to copy the files to your server.

Thanks so much Josie. Have updated the php version and all is good again.
