parse error

    Hello, I need major help!!!

    I was editing my webpage and then this message came up when I refreshed the page:::

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’ in /home/content/10/8523910/html/wp-content/themes/graphene/admin/custom-fields.php on line 198

    What am I suppose to do??

    Please, I cannot use my site admin page because the following error message appearing:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_IF in/home/…… /wp-content/themes/accelerate/inc/functions.php on line 213

    Please, advise!

    @sanver, next time, please start your own thread as per the forum rules.

    In this case, both of you need to manually deactivate the theme you are using – use FTP or CPanel to access your site files on the server and rename the theme causing the error.

    wp-content
    themes
         accelerate.HOLD
         graphene.HOLD

    Then ask the theme developer for help with the actual error.

    BTW, if you modified theme files – you should be able to just reinstall the theme after doing the above.

    And next time, use a child theme rather than modifying theme files directly:
