Today we updated the theme of our website, and then immediately after we lost all access to the site and backend. This is the error message that pops up now:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘class’ (T_CLASS), expecting identifier (T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or ‘{‘ or ‘$’ in /home/arlingto/public_html/wp-content/plugins/official-facebook-pixel/integration/FacebookWordpressIntegrationBase.php on line 38

I know this means I have to use an FTP to fix it however when I try to log into the website through FileZilla it tells me I have the wrong password. Some other posts have suggested you need the original password for your account to log in that way. We no longer have that password.

Is there another way to fix this issue??

Can an admin please help us resolve this issue???

Your official-facebook-pixel plugin seems to be the error.

Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete official-facebook-pixel plugin.

Yes I know that I need to go in and fix that, however I am having trouble accessing my site through an FTP. That is what I need help with.

Please contact your hosting provider for assistance with that.
