    After updating wpbackitup, I am getting the following error when attempting to go to my dashboard:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/content/79/10035879/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-backitup/lib/includes/class-api.php on line 213
    I can’t get into the dashboard to be able to edit anything.

    Thank you for the offer, but I was able to FTP to the website and remove the Wp Backitup folder and that fixed the website.
    I reinstalled WP Backitup and it installed correctly and is working fine.
    Thank you for your very prompt reply. I am very pleased with your software and don’t consider one little glitch to be a problem.

    Thanks for the update @rfergusn. This issue was reported last week and we resolved it quickly but as you found removing via ftp and reinstalling the latest version is the best way to handle it. We are offering to fix this for any customer that reports it but glad to hear you got it resolved.
