    Ok thank you anyway. after a few searches I realised that PHP was not upgraded to version 5.5

    Hey @marktadford,

    Thank you for reporting this. As it turns out, this was an error on my part. Though the new code is syntactically correct for php 5.5, we have committed to making the plugin work on 5.2.x, just like core WP. The changes that were pushed out yesterday have been corrected in a new version today, 1.14.14.

    Again thank you for reporting this, because it will definitely affect a larger number of people.
