Parse error in 2.6.2 upgrade – help

  • I just followed the extensive upgrade guide step by step but when it’s time to do the actual upgrade(.php) then I get this error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/visitswe/public_html/vdblogg/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 811

    I’ve done the ftp transfer 5 times just in case some files were missed but the problem is still the same. I’ve also tried deleting the file mentioned and uploading it specifically without any change.

    What’s up?

    Trying to install version 2.6.2.
