Parse Error: Line 53

    I’m running WP 4.9.1, I have installed both Hamilton and Minimalist themes but when I try to install the Easy Photography Portfolio plug-in, WordPress comes back with:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/content/76/6667276/html/wp-content/plugins/photography-portfolio/photography-portfolio.php on line 53

    Any idea what’s going on?

    Hey there,
    Sorry about that mystical error. It means that you have an outdated PHP Version. This plugin requires at least PHP Version 5.4.

    You can ask your hosting provider to upgrade your PHP version. I recommend that you ask for PHP 7 if possible.

    Hi, I have the same problem and my PHP version is: 5.6.30
