    hkicenet,

We think we have found the issue and will be deploying an update shortly. If you have FTP access to your site, you can delete the folder /wp-content/plugins/wp-facebook-pixel and then reinstall the plugin.

If you want any help with any of this, please do not hesitate to reach out to us again.

Also, if you find WP Facebook Pixel useful, then please give us a positive review here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/view/plugin-reviews/wp-facebook-pixel?rate=1#postform

If you don’t feel we deserve a 5 star rating just yet, then please don’t review and let us know what we can do to improve! Ratings under 5 stars really hurt us.

    Best wishes,
    Jacob

@jacobmhulse Here’s where I use the form letter. Please read the whole thing.

I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

    hkicenet,

It seems my well intentioned offer to debug the issue on your site has been taken down. While I do not agree with their view of things, it is their house and I must abide by their rules.

In my original post, I had indicated that we believe we may have found the issue, but since we are unable to replicate the problem we cannot know if we have truly solved it or not. Could you please provide us with the version of WordPress and PHP you are using? Additionally, providing us a list of plugins may also help.

If you do not wish any of this information to be public, please feel free to create a private post on our in-house support forum here: https://nightshiftapps.com/forums/forum/wp-facebook-pixel-support/
Simply create a new topic for our discussion. After creating the topic, add a private reply to the topic by checking the ‘Set as Private’ box at the bottom of the reply form. Doing so will allow only yourself and our support staff to view your information.

    hkicenet,

We are publishing an update which we believe will resolve the issues you described. It is an issue between an older version of PHP your server seems to be running and our code.

Please let us know if you see any other issues, or if this resolves them. We eagerly await your update.

    Best Wishes,
    Jacob
