    Hi Team

    I having trouble accessing my website dashboard

    gives me a error

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”_wptouch-disabl’ (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE) in /home/bentotaw/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wptouch/core/compat.php on line 129

    please help how can i fix this issue

  • Hi,

    It seems that wptouch plugin is broken and so you are getting this error.
    Please navigate to your files from cPanel or Plesk whichever you are using.

      Go to wp-content/plugins directory.
      Rename wptouch directory to wptouch-old

    It will disable wptouch plugin and your problem will resolve.

    Once you can access your dashboard you may re install this plugin.

    I did try renaming the directory, option rename not available on my C panel for wptouch directory, you can rename sub folders not the main wptouch directory

    anyways around to disable please

    Can you rename the “plugins” folder?

    i manage to rename the wptouch folder and access my dashboard, also reinstall the new version and everything work good thanks
