Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION

  • Hi everyone

    Hoping you are fine, i′m writing because i need help. I have been working on a website using wordpress, and i installed a template called PROTHEME but when i’m going to activate it, Google Chrome shows me the next error regarding the import-functions.php file:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/marquiss/public_html/site/wp-content/themes/protheme/inc/admin/import-functions.php on line 202

    My system requirements are: wordpress 4.8, PHP 5.4.45, and MySQL 5.5.51-38.2

    Honestly o don′t know how to fix it, i′ll thank all the help.
