  • Thank you that got it working again

I renamed folder and installed 2.4.1 and it is working but the Upcoming Events widget has lost the CSS. It’s dumping all event details rather than short summary list mode. https://www.amesburychamber.com/ Any ideas?

Installing the old version lost the setting to enable agenda view. I enabled that feature and all is good again! Now just waiting for a version that works with the latest WP version.

I have an idea. Because it looks like the developer has abandoned the plugin, let’s abandon him. I welcome.suggestions of alternative plugins

    Hi, please help me!
I deleted the whole folder, but still got the same syntax error. I can’t access frontend or backend.
I uploaded all-in-one-calendar 2.4.1 but still the same error.
Cleaned cache and tried another browser – no chance!

Deleting the whole folder is right and than you must re-install all-in-one-calendar 2.3.12, all newer Versions don’t work.

I tried 2.3.12, but still the same error…

    PROBLEM SOLVED

Just deactivare, then delete the Timely All In One plugin.

Install this events calendar from webDorado.

    Problem solved.

This does NOT solve my problem. I have the syntax error even when I deleted the whole plugin! No chance to access backend nor frontend. I need to have at least a running website with or without a calendar…

@missmikado – May I assume you used the WP delete function? Do you have FTP access to the server?

If so, open the wp-content/ folder and you may see that the plugin has installed at least one additional folder of the same name. Delete any and all. Do the same in the plugin folder.

I have seen that there is now 2.5.1 version available for upgrade, someone has already tried to update ?

I have access to FTP – I would not be able to delete or upload anything if I hadn’t.

But: PROBLEM SOLVED. In my case it was the PHP 5.2 that caused the problem. I updated to 5.6 and now it is running. Even the newest version of the calendar.

Thank you all for your time!

The development team is working on this issue, it seems that PHP version 5.2 is the cause, so if possible, please upgrade to a newer version, 5.6.

We apologise for any inconveniences or problems that this issue caused.

    Thanks,
    Ben

Will PHP ver 5.4 be compatible? I ask because that is the highest version GoDaddy offers.

I answered my own question. PHP ver 5.4 is compatible with version 2.5.1 of this plugin.
