I am getting the following error, I believe it might be related to my upgrade from 2.8.1 to 2.8.2 but I could be wrong. Not sure how to go about fixing the problem, I have SSH access but can’t access anything else on the site.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /var/www/site1/wp-includes/post.php on line 3104

  • relegated,
there are two or three common reasons that you would get a T_String error but if you haven’t messed with the code on your site and you just did an upgrade the first thing to try is reinstalling the files for the upgrade. I recommend downloading the files and then upload them via ftp.

Also, make sure you have enough disk space on your hosting account for the upgrade, if your out of disk space this could cause files not to be updated properly.

I manually upgraded and it resolved the problem, thanks.
