Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VAR

  • Alright, I was trying to add google analytics code to my wordpress site. I thought I should put it in the header so I edited wp-blog-header and placed the code in it towards the top. Upload it back to my server and I get an error immediately. So I take the code out and reupload it and I still get an error. I dunno what the heck I did but its incredibly frusturating.

    The exact error is Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VAR in /home/moblati4/public_html/tech/wp-blog-header.php on line 2. Their is nothing on line 2….
