Parse error: syntax error with latest version 1.2.3

    Trying to install P2 on my host. I got this when preview/install:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/site-name/public_html/wp-content/themes/p2/functions.php on line 56

    I’m running PHP 5.2.14

    What can I do?
