Recently updated ShareThis plugin to 7.0.1 and the plugin deactivated. I received this fatal error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_DNUMBER in /home/…./public_html/wp-content/plugins/share-this/sharethis.php on line 32

The code for sharethis.php is below. I know very little about php, so I can’t tell what’s wrong with line 32 and what needs to be fixed. Any input would be appreciated:

I have the same exact problem! I uninstalled the extension and reinstalled it but it still doesn’t work…

I got the same:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_DNUMBER in /home/cbsinc/public_html/wp-content/plugins/share-this/sharethis.php on line 32

Had to deactivate the plugin or my site would not open at all…

I ftp’d into our site and changed that line to $_stversion=7.0;. That fixed it for us.

Hi kevwaresf,

7.0 has an update for a new UI, which allows you add new ShareThis tools you otherwise wouldn’t be able to before.

For 7.0, the best update to get is 7.0.2. This had UI fixes for Internet Explorer.
