I have a problem where the Media list view works for my files but the grid view doesn’t render anything.

That led me to download this plugin, but when I run it I get:

    1. parsererror: 200 SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘\’, “\{“success”… is not valid JSON
    2. parsererror: 200 SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘\’, “\{“success”… is not valid JSON

I’ve enabled all the debugging methods but WordPress doesn’t error???

It would seem like something is trying to escape the JSON output. The process is working, you’re getting success on every image, but whatever the initial issue you were having where your Grid mode won’t display the image, is affecting this as well. More likely than not there is a plugin that is messing with this. So, I would go back to the initial issue and try to fix that before adding a new plugin. I would recommend disabling all plugins and then re-enabling them one by one until that grid view breaks. If disabling them all doesn’t fix that issue, check your theme. If that doesn’t do it, you may need to check with your webhost to see what the issue is with your WordPress, as it definitely should be displaying images in the grid view.

As I haven’t heard anything back about this for a while, I’m going to resolve this thread. If you have further questions, please feel free to open a new one!
