    I want to create a quiz that is a diagnostic and have it total up the sum of the parts. For example:

    Check each of the following actions you have done (1 point each):

    A, B, C, D, E all listed as checkboxes.

    The score is the sum of the boxes checked.

    Is there a way to do this? I have assigned point values to each but it shows as a zero or 1, even with the question weight is, say, 5.

    Thank you for the topic.

    As far as we understand, you want to assign half points to the quiz takers for the Checkbox question type in case they answer correctly to the question. 

    If yes, then, in order to achieve your desired result, you can head to the?Quizzes > particular quiz > Results Settings tab?and?untick?the?Strong calculation of checkbox answers score?option.?

    This helps. This option weights all the subparts equally, even when the answer weights are different. Example:

    A. answer weight is 1 point

    B. answer weight is 1 point

    C. answer weight is 1 point

    D. answer weight is 3 points

    Total question is worth 6 points. Clicking A and D calculates as 3/6 instead of 4/6. Is there a way to have the answer weights calculate correctly?

    I do not know if I should open a new thread, but my second question is how to award partial points for answers. For example, Total question is worth 10:

    A. Best answer =10

    B. Second best answer gets 7 points

    C. Third best gets 4 points

    D. Final answer gets 0

    Can I set it up so that a user gets 0, 4, 7, or 10 depending on the answer chosen? A number of the kinds of questions I would like to ask have gradated answers. As it stands currently, it is a 10 or nothing even when the answer weights are set correctly.

    2. Please let us know whether you have chosen the Weight/point method of calculation for the quiz or not.
