We use WPML for translate for German & English version of our page.
In my woocommerce product page I see that my product with status “private” is not synchronisized to Facebook in both languages (correct)! But in same time I saw on facebook that a new part is add to my shop – my part in 2nd WPML language which is in private status!
I finished the part now urgently but I have a lot of parts in status “private” because they are for the future or not in program at the moment!! Now I am nervous and insecure.
After control the Facebook online shop I think that it works but what could make this issue today?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’m not 100% sure I understand the issue at hand here. Let me see if I have this right:

You’re saying that you have some products in WooCommerce that are private. WPML has made other versions of these in another language, and those products are also private. However, when syncing all products to Facebook, the new versions in the second language are *not* private on Facebook. (Meaning you need to make them private manually.)

    Is that all correct?

    Hi,
I could not do it manually because the product in the backend was on private status and not sync to Facebook. I had no Facebook sync-number on both languages
The German product was not in my Facebook shop – correct BUT I got the message in Facebook of “new products in your shop blablaba….” and saw my English version of the product there

In backend this product was also in status private and no sync to Facebook!

Is it possible that there is a problem if duplicate a product which was synced?
The duplication make automatic a draft version. If I than work on it I change to private before save.

    Hi there,

Based on what you say, it seems that the problem is related to the translation functionality, as if I understand it correctly, the products are properly synchronized if you’re not translating them using WPML, right?

If that’s the case, you’ll need to reach WPML support and report the issue there, as they’ll probably have to add some adjustments to their plugin to support our Facebook for WooCommerce plugin in a way that makes it able to sync the translated products correctly.

    I hope it helps!

    Thanks,

    Hi,
Facebook Sync should not sync anything if a product is in status DRAFT.
Also it should do nothing if status of product page is PRIVATE

My product was translated but in both languages in status PRIVATE.
In my backend there was no Facebook sync number but I had the new product information on my Facebook page.

So I am sorry that I do not know what WPML should can do for me on this issue.

    Hello @urka,

Facebook Sync should not sync anything if a product is in status DRAFT.

You are correct. Facebook should only sync the published products. I just tested and can confirm that it doesn’t sync any product that is not published. It seems like an issue with the WPML plugin you are using. As suggested, please reach out to them for further assistance.

    Thanks,
