Pass an id when using the shortcode

I’m trying to use the sliders to display product details. I’ve created a bunch of custom fields for each product, and add these into the slider with short codes. There are multiple products to a page, and rather than create a slider for each product, it would be great if I could create a ‘master’ slider and when I use it, just add ‘product=xxx’ or similar.

I’ve tried it with a few products and it’s annoying to have to go through the 15 or so slides updating the id for the custom fields multiple times. Ideally, I would make the master, add in fields like [acf field=”maximum_height” post_id=”PID”] and then when I call the slider for a particular product use something like [slide-anything id=”135″ pid=”878″]

Hope I’ve made sense and you think it’s a good idea (or ideally thought it was a good idea already added it and you can tell me I missed it!! ?? )
