Pass PHP var to js code

Dear devs,

I’ve posted a general question here with some details.

As suggested, Enhanced Text plugin may be the best option to achieve my goal. In a first try I see that the PHP echoes the var as expected, however the bar chart is not showing up, not even the hardcoded value.

Is there any incompatibility in Enhanced Text to render the js charts?
