While in my WP Dashboard, I go to SETTINGS/SECURITY BY CLEANTALK then it takes me to the Firewall tab. List there are lots of IP’s that have attempted to access. Many of them have the phrase, “Passed by Common Lists”. These are IP’s from China, North Korea, etc. What is “Passed by Common Lists” and should I BAN or do anything?

I can send a screenshot if that would help; just need a way/location to send it.

The Common list contains IPs that are not included in any other lists such as Security blacklist, Personal list, or Good bots. They are simple visitors. As I can see visited by these users URLs are normal and do not contain any part of backend URLs.

Thank you for the response. You say that IP visits from China, North Korea, and Russia are normal visits. But the site is a genealogical site for a name not present in these and lots of other places, and these countries were supposedly “blocked” . Dozens and dozens of visits from an IP in China or Russia in a day does not seem like normal visitations. Are you suggesting I just ignore these IPs or should I mark to “ban” them?

We do not block visitors from certain countries due to the website or website’s admin location.

You can blacklist any country in the Security personal list. Here is the guide: genealogical.
