Passing Selected option from dropdown in the url

Hi,
I’m trying to pass the selected value from a drop down as url query so that my url in analytics will show up as fx. /kontaktformular-tak?Dubai or just/?Dubai if Dubai is selected in the form in the sidebar.
But i think I’m not setting this up correctly – the redirect works flawlessly, but I can’t see any url query parameter in analytics at all..
