Password and Notifications

  • I don’t know if these are theme problems or WordPress problems but here goes.

    1. Is my site supposed to email me when someone signs up? It is not doing that.

    2. My friend signed up a few days ago and was told during the process that he would be sent an email with a password. This is not happening.

    Is it a theme problem of WordPress problem or is it in my settings?

    Appreciate any help I can get!!!!

    Talking with support. The guy put a script on the server and that worked so he says the problem is not with the server.

    Sheesh… back and forth…

    This is what I got from my host:

    No. That said many people switch to a Linux server to solve problems.

    Well, I don’t know why but today it actually seems to be working. I’ve gotten a couple of subscription notices anyway. If you could, I’ve deleted your account, can you try one more time to register and let me know if you get a password? Thanks so much!

    Your host has had some issues that may have been the cause.

    Wow… good read! Thanks!!! And thanks again for all your help. I’m not thrilled with the theme, but I’m afraid to change it now that it’s working!!!
