Password change problem

  • Greetings!
    Yesterday I set up a new user. She needs to edit a total of 5 different WP installations. I let the new password generator generate a nice secure password on the first one.
    I set her up on site #2. You used to be able to fill in a password and go. Now you need to use the built in generator button to get the user password box. (Why?)
    The issue is that I put in the secure password from the first site and it rejects it and instead saves the generated password. I can check the box and use a less secure password, but it will not accept the first site’s generated password. I don’t want to give her 5 different high security passwords.

  • You can create the first password and save it in a text file.
    go to site two and create the user and let it send the password it creates then edit the user, show the password and replace it with the password from site 1 and save the user. Repeat for the other sites

    then tell her to just delete the emails she gets
