Password Entry and or Downloadlink shows broken site

    Hi Community,

    I did setup the plugin some weeks ago and it worked fine. Suddenly i have the following problem.

    When password protecting a file-download the file would show correctly on the published site. When entering the correct password the green “download” button appears. (see screenshot)
    After a couple of seconds the page reloads and a whitescreen with lots of scrambled symbols is shown.

    Alternatively if I do click the “download” button the same thing happens, the page reloads and the page full of broken code symbols is shown (PK??^?EuT(content types).xml?????(x???C????)…and so on). It seems like some kind of symbol translation issue. I can send screenshots if possible.

    I am using wordpress 4.4.2 (I have to wait before updating to 4.5 due to 3rd party plugin issues) and Download Manager 2.8.95, in a MAMP system on my Macbook Pro and ElCapitan OS.

    Any ideas or experience on how to solve this issue? I would really appexiate your help guys.

    Try disabling resumable download and output buffering from download manager settings.

    Hi Shahriar,

    thanks a lot for your answer. This worked and I can download now without problem after entering the password. Great job. I suppose I will need this two settings switched on ever correct?
