• Hi,

Since a few days, we have an error when creating directly a new user account from the backend, on our WordPress site (v. 5.6).
    The error is :
(in french) “Erreur : les mots de passe ne correspondent pas. Veuillez saisir le même mot de passe dans les deux champs.”
(translated in english) : “Error: Passwords do not match. Please enter the same password in both fields.”

Your plugin (v. 7.24) being the last I installed, I deactivated it and tried again to create an account, … and it works again!

So, it seems that your plugin has an issue with WordPress : did you have some similar remarks form other users?
Can you help to solve this issue?

    Thanks!

For your information, I made a rollback to v. 7.23, and the issue disappears.

    Hi @maxelio42,

I am not sure what the issue would be, especially if a rollback to version 7.23 resolves the issue. Because the difference between version 7.23 and 7.24 is very small and would not affect this kind of thing. All we did was change the link used in the logout link in the admin toolbar, it wouldn’t affect what you are saying. I am not doubting what you are saying. I just don’t know what I can do to resolve it based on the code changes that have occurred in those 2 versions without running thorough diagnostics on your install.

    Thanks,

    Rich

    Hi @devoton,

I recommend providing your diagnostic information in the plugin settings just so I know what your environment is. If you learn anything more about the issue and how I can repeat it on my end that would be great.
