Password mismatch on www.ads-software.com

  • I’m having trouble logging into www.ads-software.com. I requested a password reset and was sent a new password which allowed me to log in, so I change the auto-password to one I could remember.

    I can now log in to www.ads-software.com/support/ using my own password, but logging in to www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/ requires me to use the auto-password I was sent. Also logging in to either URL logs me out of the other one.

    I am mightily confused, and worried I’ve messed up my login to SVN for my plugins. Is this a known bug?

    Try clearing your cookies and logging in fresh. Tell me if that solves it.

    Also, the password data is shared between both plugins and support (and everything else), so I’m not quite sure how an old password would continue to work there.

    Update: Just noticed this was 3 days old. Did the problem go away? We have had some memcache issues recently, so it’s possible that the userdata was being pulled from cache or that the cache was being worked on at the time.
