Password Page- Probs with Firefox on Mobile

  • Password Protection Issue:
    Using Firefox on my Samsung Galaxy S7, a password-protected page will not accept the password and permit the page to appear.
    It stalls at the “gate” page that shows the password field.

    Following other threads with the same or similar issue, I created a fresh install of WP; used the WP 2019 Theme; NO plugins activated, and problem still persists.
    Yes, cache cleared between trial runs.

    It works fine using Chrome on my phone, and it works fine when using Firefox on my laptop.
