• Sorry if this question has been asked before, I am reading as quick as I can to find a solution. Hopefully one of you out there will be able to help me quickly ??

I password protected several pages under my MEMBERS ONLY section of my site.
That works fine. However, once the page is viewed, When a member goes back to that page, it does not ask for the password again. How can I prevent this from happening? I want them to use the PW EVERY TIME they want to look at those specific pages.

Thanks so much for your help!

  • Password works with cookies as the browser saves a cookie for the page and when the same person comes to the page does not ask for password this my understanding and i do not think wordpress has a way to delete the cookie may one of the coders have a idea on how to.

Thank you. That is what I thought it might be. I downloaded the MEMBERS ONLY plug in but am not sure I can implement because it is all different pages.

If I put all the member only pages in a subdirectory and create a new wp site in there, then could I use the MEMBERS ONLY to protect the home page of the new subdirectory only and then only the pages in there could be accessed by members??

Thanks again for any input anyone can give me.

Or you can create a members only template that you can use like I do on my website where only members can see the pages
