password protect site, but show homepage

  • Hello,
    I am looking for a plugin that lets me password-protect my site, while still showing the homepage behind the login form. Hide My Site would be perfect, but it only allows a static background image behind the form. I need something that is essentially a pop-up in front of the fully active site. Is there anything available?

  • Lot of plugins are available with screenshots that tells you how it look like after it is installed, you can check which one is compatible with your wordpress installation version. Install only a plugin with lot of downloads and high rating.
