Password protected categories…

  • Hi,

    We are thinking of creating a blog for clients. The main feature we wanted to have is that each category would only be accessible by a number of users and unless they are logged in and subscribed to the the category it would remain invisible. Is this possible with wordpress?

  • Over the past months I’ve seen queries from people (like me) who want to password-protect a category rather than its posts individually.

    Following a suggestion from another discussion about this same thing, I checked out Role Manager; but it has a different function — or at least *I* can’t see how it might make a category readable only by invitation.

    Does anyone know if there have been developments on this front?

    Has there been any development on this? I too would love for this option to exist.
