Password protected page forbidden on safari

  • I am unable to access password protected page on safari for mac and Ipad. I am able to access the page from chrome, but on safari I get 403 forbidden after I enter the password. I created a clean install with no plugins and twentyseventeen as a theme and I am still experiencing the same error across multiple devices and locations.

  • Hi @npmarie,

    I am getting a 403 on each browser I test it on and am not able to log in anywhere. The developer console in Chrome and Safari isn’t giving me too much more information.

    There is a good list of trouble shooting options found on an external site that I would recommend working through (you’ve done step 1 already by testing with no plugins).
