Password Protected Pages don't work
-
Ok so here is my issue. I have a Password Protected page I need protected. Problem is, when I enter the correct password, it just seems to refresh the page, instead of loading the content it is suppose to load. In my case, I have a map to my home that I need to keep protected for obvious security reasons. The page I am trying to get to work is betaleaf.net/lostdevice
I have tried Adding a Custom Field where the name and value is “DONOTCACHEPAGE” per the instructions I found at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-wp-super-cache-exclude-specific-pages
The above link is 3 years old and doesn’t seem to be relevant anymore as I still have issues with Password Protected Pages
I have also tried adding to the box “Add here strings (not a filename) that forces a page not to be cached.” with the value “lostdevice” appended to the end.
I checked the FAQ and don’t see anything pertaining to this issue.
I must be doing something wrong or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Jeff Savage (BetaLeaf)
