Password Protected Pages Redirect to Homepage

    For some reason, all password-protected posts and pages redirect users to the homepage. If you hit back and refresh, the content becomes visible. Obviously, that’s not a solution.

    Any idea how or why this is happening? And more importantly, how to fix it?

    To rule out any plugin/theme conflict, try to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    The Problem is JetPack “Protect”. had to turn it off. Should have enough security with Malcare and Cloudflare as is, so it was probably redundant a few times over.
